Bio:
Tara McKeown is a casting associate originally from Hull, now based in Leeds.
Tara originally trained as an actor at The Gaiety school of acting (Dublin) and in 2020, she was part of the first cohort of the National Film and Television School’s Casting Certificate Course, set up by Shaheen Baig and Jina Jay.
Her credits include: ‘UNDER SUSPICION: KATE MCCANN’ (Casting Director, C5, 2026), ‘THE FALL OF SIR DOUGLAS WEATHERFORD’ (Casting Assistant, BBC Film, 2026), ‘KIDNAPPED: ELIZABETH SMART’ (Drama Casting Director, Netflix, 2026), ‘SHAKESPEARE & HATHAWAY: PRIVATE INVESTIGATORS’ (Casting Director, BBC, 2025), ‘BRITAIN UNDER THE NAZIS: THE FORGOTTEN OCCUPATION’ (Casting Director, C4, 2025), ‘THE DUMPING GROUND’ (Casting Assistant, BBC, 2025), ‘MARCHING POWDER’ (Casting Assistant, Apple TV+, 2025), ‘HONEY BUNCH’ (Casting Assistant, Netflix, 2025).
