Workshop Details: Alison leads a TV/Film Workshop. Participants will be sent sides to work on with Alison, which will be taped and sent via email after the workshop. Alison will then lead a discussion and Q&A with the participants, sharing her knowledge and inspiration.
Bio: Alison Murchie has been working in casting for over 14 years.
Alison’s casting credits include: casting for ‘DRAGN’ (Puma In A Tank), ‘WHEEL OF TIME’ (Amazon). And has worked on other series for Amazon Prime including (‘LORE’, ‘GREEK SALAD’), Netflix (‘THE LIBERATOR’) and Disney plus (still under wraps).
Since 2016 she has been working for Nancy Bishop Casting where she is an Associate. Working almost exclusively in film and TV they have cast series for Netflix, Amazon, Disney +, as well as many independent films and blockbusters and won a CSA Award for their work on BORAT SUBSEQUENT MOVIEFILM andCDG Award for best comedy casting.
Other film credits with Nancy Bishop Casting include ‘PRIZEFIGHTER’ with Russell Crowe and Ray Winstone.
‘5 POUNDS OF PRESSURE’ with Luke Evans, Rory Culkin and Rudy Pankow. ‘MIRANDA’S VICTIM’ with Donald Sutherland, Abigail Breslin, Ryan Philippe and Luke Wilson.
‘UNDER THE STARS’ with Toni Collette, Andy Garcia and Alex Pettyfer
She started out with Chand Casting and worked on ‘SCOTTISH MUSSEL’ with Tallulah Riley and Martin Compston and other independent films, and also adverts for Vodafone, Lego and Cadbury.
