Step away from the everyday and immerse yourself in Spain in a focused, supportive retreat designed for actors pursuing a career in television. Over two intensive days, you’ll deepen your craft with a clear emphasis on acting for TV—strengthening truthful performance, emotional connection, listening, and presence within the fast-paced demands of television storytelling.
Train alongside a committed group of actors in a collaborative environment where community comes first. Through daily actor workouts and practical scene work, you’ll explore how strong acting fundamentals serve television performance, developing clarity, precision, and consistency while staying grounded in authentic, instinctive choices.
This retreat offers space to experiment, take risks, and grow in a supportive environment that values both craft and connection. You’ll work closely with fellow actors, forming meaningful creative relationships and a network that continues beyond the retreat.
This workshop will be hosted by Judith Dine (Director of CASUALTY, CORONATION STREET, KEEPING FAITH) , Actor Billy Hartman (Starred as Terry Woods in EMMERDALE for 15 years. other credits include HIGHLANDER), Take One and Rolling Academy.
All food and refreshments are included, allowing you to stay energised and fully present throughout the experience. Come ready to work, share, and reconnect with the craft of acting—together.
The two intensive days will run 10am-6pm each day with the option of social dinners in the evening as a group.
Accommodation is not included.
On booking we will send you recommendations on accommodation, flights and local taxi services.
Cancellation Policy
All bookings for the Abroad Actors Retreat are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another actor, subject to approval, by notifying us in writing no later than 7 days before the retreat start date.
In the unlikely event that the retreat is cancelled by the organisers, you will receive a full refund of the retreat fee. We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred, including travel or accommodation.
